Did you know that top L&P ad is voiced by Jermaine from Flight of the Conchords?
For some reason I can't click the link to the bottom ad...
Well I think that ad was from around the time that Flight of the Conchords were semi-well known on the comedy circuit but dind't have their show yet, so I imagine it was some nice supplementary imcome!
Jemaine (see their bio info on the band myspace page) has been doing ads and TV work for quite some time. Rhett, you may remember him in that DB Export Gold ad taking the piss out of extreme sports by having one involving a wheelbarrow and also a comedy sketch series called Skitz in the early 90s. Both those FotC boys are very talented and will transition out of the comedy show well I think...
Jemaine also did a string of Outback Steakhouse commercials for the US...Me and my little sister really liked them. No one in the US could tell he was Kiwi and not an Aussie! Oh well..!
