Are you going to hang out with Jesus if there are smelly sick people around all the time?

Are you going to hang out with Jesus if there are smelly sick people around all the time?
That's my question for Christians after reading today. They were always being brought to Jesus as i am reading so you couldn't be stuck on being high profile and high maintenance and hangout with Jesus all the time. But often that is how we ask God for our lives to look. Do we have a double standard in our lives sometimes?
